The most common reason is that a delivery preference was selected through the HDS SMS after the order was placed.

Any delivery instructions entered on The Dinner Ladies website are automatically shared with HDS. However, if you later select a delivery preference from the HDS SMS, this will override the instructions provided at checkout.

For example:

• Checkout instructions: "Please leave by the side gate"
• HDS SMS selection: "Front Door"

In this case, Front Door becomes the active delivery instruction.

Important: If you've already provided delivery instructions when placing your order, there's no need to select a delivery preference through the HDS SMS. Selecting an option in the SMS will replace the instructions entered at checkout.
